• Monday through Thursday: 2:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.
• Friday: 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.
• Saturday: Summer hours, 10a.m. to 2:30 a.m Winter hours, 5:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.
• Sunday: 8:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.

Saturday Gennas used to pay homage to Lawrence Welk, one of America's Classics, just in case you're


wondering why there's Lawrence Welk paraphernalia on display.


That's right. At 6:00 p.m. every Saturday the Welkians would gather for cocktails and champagne music. We provided the bubbles, and they came down to sing along with Larry and the gang. Sadly, due to some schedule changes and other factors it no longer happens.  It was quite surreal and a lot of fun. 





Sunday is the Service Industry Special, 8 'til midnight.

We ran the Slipper Club, a music venue down the street from us, for 2 1/2 years, from March of 2004 until July 29, 2006 It launched the Mad Cabaret as the thing to do on Thursday nights. Other nights saw a mix of bands, shows and burlesque. It just was never busy enough on a regular basis to sustain itself. So if you're going out on the town and you're not coming to Genna's right away go support your local music and arts scene, then stop in for a nightcap.

Don't Drive Drunk. Madison has great cabs. Call Union Cab at 242-2000 for a safe ride home.
