Genna's, conveniently located on the corner of S. Hamilton & W Main St. across the street from Madison's Capitol Square
Residing in a polychromatic brick flatiron building dating from 1874 Genna's has been a fixture on the square since 1993. It has been a tavern, however, since 1964, previously located at 614 University Ave.
Come and see for yourself what brings so many through our front door time and time again. Venture upstairs on a snowy night or lounge outside on our patio in the warmer months. The Capitol Square is a vibrant place to be and we're happy to be an integral part of it.
Check our Facebook Page for events and happenings, we host a weekly open mike, dj's and beer events. Up to date info is best found there.

You can take a look at our jurassic era website here, it has a link to a brief history of Genna's from 1964-1994 and a link to the old Slipper Club website, a music/burlesque/who really knows what it was club we ran down the street from 2004-2006 where the Frequency is now located.
